How to hem chiffon with a sewing machine

I have tried a lot of freaking techniques, for the hemming of soft lace like material.... like chiffon. If you are one of those highly skilled seem-tress unlike me who can hem up that material please help a sister out. If you are not and you need help just like me, here is how I like to do my hemming of this material. This technique will allow you to still get a nice clean flowy finish.

I got a trim

 You can't really tell now but over the weekend; I got a trim at a salon. Walmart baby! I know crazy but the stylist there was really good at her craft. I told her what I wanted and she was able to do it to a "T". I was pretty shocked. I told her to be careful how much she cut but to even it up in the back. It looks like she fixed up my layers too. So now when I curl my hair it has so much body and waves. I have fallen in love with my hair all over again. It's crazy how a good trim can change the health of your hair. Boy, my ends were looking straight crazy.

 She cut off a inch. So instead of being only 3 inches, now I'm only 4 inches away from waist length. Come on hair and grow.

Danny's wedding

This weekend was the best weekend ever. I got to celebrate the wedding of one of my best friends. I wouldn't have trade it for the world. Her family is like my second family no lie. They have been there for me for these last past 7 years. family for life!

summer flowers nail art

I love being a girl, painting my nails is just so much fun. This is my first time using my acrylic paint to do a nail art design.  It came out decent for my first time.

deep conditioning

I have been deep conditioning a lot more lately. I am really trying to get to waist length. I have been using this product below with jojoba oil mixed in it .

talk about amazing results

This big fro is from blow-drying like usual. I flat ironed my bangs instead of just simply braiding them, which is what I do the majority of the time.

Summer abstract nail art

I'm so mad because I didn't have time to do my nails at the wedding.. I had all these ideas for the big day and I totally ran out of time. So what I did was cut them all short and shaped them up. They were totally bare no color. It was pretty boring but it is a opportunity to start over and grow them long again. The first look I did since the wedding was this super easy abstract look which contains a few yellows and oranges.

Sorry for the smush art work on the nails. I was kind-ah rushing when I did these.
